What started as a rockin’ good time became a Durham tradition, filled with music, food, and outstanding craft beer! After a pandemic break, we came back in 2022—it just kept getting better.
This isn’t a Beer Fest with music, or a Blues Fest with beer. It’s a new type of event, designed to be a unique experience, by offering great Blues music and only North Carolina Craft Beers.
The Brewers will be on site to tell you about their Breweries and Beers while you sample from their selection. Not the “shots” you get at Beer Fests, but a full 12 oz. pour for you to enjoy while learning about their beers, and listening to great blues bands. This eliminates spending excessive time standing in lines and allows you time to enjoy the music, beer, and your friends. Recently we’ve added wine and cider!
Proceeds from the festival benefit non-profit organizations in the Durham area, across the nation, and abroad, including the Exchange Family Center, a Durham-based non-profit agency dedicated to preventing child abuse. Thanks to the support of our sponsors and ticket holders, in our first seven years, we have raised over $200,000 — all donated to worthy causes.
